Welcome to The Thirsty Onyx, where our adventure began with a simple phrase to my dad: "I have a great idea."

Hi, I’m Alyssa! Owner of the Thirsty Onyx! I live in Aurelia with my 3 kids, my fiancé Cameron, and two dogs Akinah, and Tava. My parents and I mulled over the trailer idea for a week, and then fate intervened. A perfect trailer popped up for sale just 7 miles away from us! It was a sign. We snagged it on July 4th, 2023, and wasted no time getting to work. My dad, also known as "Bob the builder" from his days in the military, tackled the renovation with gusto. He rebuilt the trailer from the ground up, even installing a brand-new floor.

As my dad worked his magic, I kept dreaming up wild ideas for the trailer. Finally, in September 2023, we unveiled The Thirsty Onyx and took it out for its first event!

If there's one thing about me, it's that I'm always bursting with new ideas. Maybe that's why I found myself drawn to graphic design, my second passion, at a cozy print shop in Cherokee, IA called Details. But above all, my heart belongs to my three kids: Tobin, Othia, and Emmarie.

When we completed the trailer, Emmarie insisted it should be a lemonade stand, so we rolled with her enthusiasm. In addition to our mobile bartending gigs, catch us at fairs serving up freshly squeezed lemonade!
